Colorado Springs, CO – August 21, 2025 – Oftentimes, the life-affirming movement is critiqued for not providing holistic, wraparound care to the woman or family facing an unplanned pregnancy. Yet, Save the Storks’ Innovators Summit helps accelerate nonprofits that are created to do exactly that – supporting women, children and families.
The three-day summit is designed as an accelerator program – similar to the popular show Shark Tank – providing an estimated $24,000 worth of coaching and strategy sessions to all attendees on topics such as trademarks, registering as a 501 c (3), fundraising strategy, establishment of board of directors, website creation, and strategic development, branding and marketing, among other topics. At the end of the summit, all attendees pitched their nonprofit before a panel of four judges for the chance to be awarded grant money.
All attendees of the Innovators Summit are considered winners as they go through a competitive application process to attend; however, four of these organizations in attendance were awarded monetary grants to transform their visionary ideas into impactful solutions. The grants were awarded in varying amounts according to each organization’s current needs. All but one of the grants will be utilized for business expenses related to the creation or expansion of the nonprofit such as applying for 501c3 status, legal consultations, a rebrand, software purchases, strategic planning sessions, and more.
Save the Storks is proud to announce that the recipients of this year’s Innovators Summit grants are as follows:
- Named after founder Yuri Huntington’s nephew whose life was cut short by suicide, Arturo’s Hart Foundation provides hope, healing, and practical solutions for those silently struggling with mental health and brain health challenges.
