Pro-life organization seeks to expand life-saving healthcare access for women and families through mobile outreach
PHOENIX — Save the Storks is at AmericaFest 2025 this week with a $500,000 initiative to launch at least one Mobile Medical Clinic honoring conservative leader and pro-life advocate Charlie Kirk.
At AmericaFest, an event hosted annually by Turning Point USA, which draws thousands of attendees from across the country for speeches, panels and cultural programming focused on faith, freedom and the future of the nation, Save the Storks seeks to launch a Mobile Medical Clinic named after Erika Kirk and dedicated to protecting unborn children and supporting women facing unplanned pregnancies. If the organization surpasses its $500,000 goal, the additional funds will go toward launching a second Mobile Medical Clinic.
“Together, we are continuing Charlie Kirk’s mission to protect life and empower families. But we can’t do it alone,” said Save the Storks CEO Diane Ferraro. “Support for this mobile medical clinic ensures that women hear a different message, one of hope and tangible help.”
Save the Storks’ Mobile Medical Clinics provide free ultrasounds, pregnancy testing and counseling, delivering women’s healthcare directly to communities where access is limited. According to the organization, three out of four women who board one of its Mobile Medical Clinics choose life and embrace motherhood.
A video created by Brandon Tatum, a longtime supporter of Save the Storks, will be played on the main stage at AmericaFest to highlight the organization’s mission and the impact of Mobile Medical Clinics. Tatum’s message underscores the importance of standing with women and families through practical, compassionate care.
“For the baby who is fighting, for the mom who is scared, for the miracle about to unfold,” the organization said in its AmericaFest messaging. Supporters attending the event are encouraged to “help fund a life-saving Mobile Medical Clinic” in honor of Kirk.
Charlie Kirk, founder and president of Turning Point USA and host of AmericaFest, who was assassinated in Utah on Sept. 10, had long emphasized the need for practical support for women considering abortion.
“It’s not enough to be against abortion. We have to actually help women choose life,” Kirk said.
Ferraro said the AmericaFest initiative reflects the organization’s commitment to pairing advocacy with action.
“Charlie Kirk has consistently called on people of faith and conviction to stand in the gap for women and families,” Ferraro said. “This Mobile Medical Clinic will be a tangible expression of that call, meeting women where they are with real care, compassion and life-affirming support.”
Ferraro said Mobile Medical Clinics are a critical part of Save the Storks’ outreach strategy, particularly in underserved areas.
“These clinics allow us to bring healthcare, dignity and hope directly to women who may feel isolated or overwhelmed,” Ferraro said. “When a woman sees her child on an ultrasound and knows she is not alone, everything can change.”
Save the Storks’ mission is to create a story of hope and empowerment for every woman facing an unplanned pregnancy. This national organization that started in 2012 focuses on four key areas of impact: Elevating women’s healthcare through strategic partnerships with pregnancy health clinics; Mobile Medical Clinics that bring women’s healthcare directly to where it is most needed; Church and Community partnerships; and the Digital Platform for women, offering 24/7 access with real care and real options.
