Marisol Health partnership expands access to pregnancy testing, ultrasounds and support services

PLANO, Texas — Save the Storks has launched a new Mobile Medical Clinic in Denver in partnership with Marisol Health, expanding access to pregnancy testing, ultrasounds and support services for women across the region.

The Denver launch marks the organization’s 106th Mobile Medical Clinic nationwide and the second in Colorado. Operated by Marisol Health, the Mobile Medical Clinic serves expectant mothers with pregnancy testing, ultrasound technology and support from medical professionals and trained advocates. The clinic provides women with information, healthcare services and practical resources during critical moments in their pregnancies.

The expansion comes as new national data highlights the importance of accessible maternal care. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention reported March 4 that 649 women died during or shortly after birth in 2024, a rate of 17.9 deaths per 100,000 live births. That figure declined from 669 maternal deaths in 2023, when the rate was 18.6 deaths per 100,000 live births.

Save the Storks CEO Diane Ferraro said organizations working directly with pregnant women know that increasing access to healthcare and support services remains critical to improving outcomes for mothers and babies.

“Every woman should know she is not alone when facing an unplanned pregnancy,” Ferraro said. “Through partnerships with pregnancy health clinics and organizations like Marisol Health, we are able to walk alongside women with medical care, encouragement and resources that support the mother and child.”

The Marisol Health Mobile Medical Clinic continues a growing partnership approach used by Save the Storks, which works with pregnancy health clinics and local ministries to provide mobile medical resources in communities across the country.

Mobile medical clinics are designed to reach women who may face barriers to traditional healthcare access, including transportation challenges, limited local services or financial hardship. By bringing care directly into neighborhoods, the clinics offer a welcoming environment for women seeking medical care, information and support.

Save the Storks currently operates mobile medical clinics in 35 states, with a long‑term goal of expanding into all 50 states. Each Mobile Medical Clinic is equipped to provide ultrasound imaging, pregnancy testing and connections to counseling, housing assistance and additional community resources.

“This work is about more than one appointment or one moment,” Ferraro said. “It’s about walking with women through their pregnancy journey and continuing to provide care and support after a child is born.”

Save the Storks exists to ensure that no woman facing an unplanned pregnancy ever feels alone. Save the Storks is a national nonprofit dedicated to empowering women with compassionate care, accurate information and practical support so they can make informed, life-affirming decisions. Through partnerships with pregnancy health clinics, a growing network ofmobile medical clinics delivering women’s healthcare directly to communities in need, and a digital platform providing always-on access to real care and real options, Save the Storks creates a story of hope for women and families across the nation.

DEAR READER

We hope this article enlightened and inspired you to stand up for life.

Despite the overturning of Roe v. Wade, abortions are still prevalent in our nation. As a response to the overturning, the media: from the news to entertainment sources to even political figures and celebrities, have pushed abortion as an ongoing agenda, shaping the way this generation thinks and acts. Misinformation is being spread every day, and people are sadly believing the lies.

Our articles and stories aim to tell one thing: the truth.

We know that it is both a blessing and a challenge to understand the reality of abortion, because knowledge incites belief, and belief incites action. But we’re in this together. We believe that we can make abortion unthinkable.

With your support, we look forward to a future where young women are empowered to fight for their own rights: a right to bring life into the world, to be fearless leaders, to be examples of hope, strength, and undeterred resilience. We look forward to a future where life can happen.

If this article strengthened your belief to reach women everywhere with the truth and to let life happen, then please consider helping us extend our reach by making a gift right now. Your gift of just $10 or $20 helps our mission to create a story of hope and empowerment for every woman facing an unplanned pregnancy.

We aim to create a culture that views “pro-life” as equivalent to having empathy and compassion, providing holistic care (before and beyond pregnancy) and education, and most importantly, choosing to speak and act in love. We are pro-life, pro-love, pro-woman, pro-solution.

Don’t just be part of the movement, be part of the solution, and give today.
