Senior Data and Operations Manager

Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic Data Insights & Operations Manager to join our team. This key role will lead the analysis of data across marketing, fundraising, and community programs, providing actionable insights to drive performance and impact. The individual will also promote cross-departmental communication, operational efficiency, and productivity, while overseeing major projects. A key aspect of this role will be a hands-on approach to managing the community and volunteer department, including some day-to-day operations and volunteer recruitment.
The Data Insights & Operations Manager will report directly to the Chief Operating Officer (COO), ensuring alignment with operational goals and driving efficiencies across departments. This role will also have regular biweekly touchpoints with C-suite executives (including the CEO and CFO) to ensure strategic alignment, review key performance metrics, and discuss data-driven insights that impact organizational growth and success.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Data Science, Operations Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience in data analysis, campaign performance, and operational management.
- Strong proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and advanced Excel.
- Proficiency in Salesforce, and other CRM systems.
- Experience with project management tools (e.g., Click-Up, Monday, Asana, Trello,) and strategies for cross-departmental collaboration.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights.
- Experience in nonprofit or community-focused organizations is a plus.
- Ability to recruit, train, and manage volunteers effectively.
- Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
