Event Technology Specialist

Job Summary:
The Event Technology Specialist is a key player in optimizing event experiences by integrating and managing technology solutions that drive efficiency, engagement, and measurable outcomes. They play a vital role in overseeing the event tech stack, ensuring smooth communication, and improving workflows to enhance attendee experiences, drive revenue, and achieve event goals. From software implementation to real-time troubleshooting, the Event Technology Specialist ensures that all technical systems work seamlessly to deliver successful events.
The ideal candidate will be passionate about using technology to improve event experiences. They will have experience with event tech platforms and be able to quickly adapt to new technologies. The role is perfect for someone who enjoys problem-solving, data-driven decision-making, creativity and working in a collaborative team environment.
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience: Previous experience in event technology management, event planning, or related fields.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with event management software, registration tools, event engagement platforms, and data analytics
tools. - Problem-Solving: Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to resolve technical issues quickly and efficiently.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze data and draw insights to measure the impact of technology on attendee experience and event
goals. - Communication: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Project Management: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple systems and events simultaneously.
- Adaptability: Comfortable working in fast-paced environments and adapting to evolving event requirements.
Physical and Other Requirements
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times
- Travel required up to 5% of the year
