Diane Ferraro, Chief Executive Officer

As a woman who believes every human being, including the preborn baby, has intrinsic value, Diane Ferraro is blessed to share her personal adoption story as CEO at Save the Storks and hopes that others will be inspired to share their stories.

Since 2018, Diane has served in various marketing, awareness and development leadership roles at this innovative nonprofit ministry that serves pregnancy health clinics and precious mothers facing unplanned pregnancies. Her extensive marketing and business background that spans over three decades has equipped Diane to lead the organization into expansion of their Stork Bus mobile ministry, Partner Program, and nationwide growth to mission critical markets where abortion rates are highest.

Annie Tang Humphrey, Chief Operating Officer

Prior to joining Save the Storks, Annie Tang Humphrey cut a distinctive path for herself over a 20-year career in a competitive luxury retail enterprise. Employing a strategic, innovative, and data-driven approach, she was able to craft creative concepts that took the businesses to new heights. However, her greatest career achievement is the success of the people she led. She took time to listen to the broken, shared the Gospel (off the clock), and led many she met to fall in love with Jesus.

Now, Annie is stepping into the faith-based arena. Her personal journey of trials, trauma, loss, and perseverance inspired her to take a leap of faith and join Save the Storks. Annie is grateful that God has prepared her to use her experience to help transform the narrative of Pro-Life, so that women facing unplanned pregnancies are empowered with real options and inspiration. Annie is fiercely committed to transform our society back to one that stands with moms and champions every life!

Annie is a proud mommy of two incredible children and happily married to a courageous, remarkable retired Marine.

JD, Director of Development and Strategy

Happily married for 33 years and blessed with eight kids and six grandkids, JD Dahler has always been Pro-Life! After having three biological children, he and his wife adopted five children throughout Asia. The blessings they get from their children are plentiful. After 34 years in the secular diamond industry as an executive at multiple levels, it was time to go “all in” with Pro-Life. JD joined Save the Storks in 2021 and never looked back. He says, “our donors are the best – loyal, passionate, and dedicated to make an impact with women facing an unplanned pregnancy.”

Sheila, Senior Event Manager

Sheila hails from Minnesota where she got her undergraduate degree from the University of Minnesota – Twin Cities. She then pursued her passion to work with youth in Middle and High Schools throughout Minnesota. She got the call to transition to non-profit work and pursued her master’s degree in biblical studies with an emphasis on non-profit work and became a licensed minister. Her passion for pro-life grew from her own unplanned pregnancy in 2017 and since that moment she has dedicated her life to helping women going through the same experience. She loves to energize Gen Z with what it means to be pro-life. Sheila has been with Save the Storks in the events department since 2019 and recently started to help pilot the College Age Initiatives to engage and activate Gen Z in pro-life work. Sheila is a very proud wife and mom to two spirited girls, Olive and Elyn.

Pamela, Partner Care Coordinator

As a post-abortive mother, Pam has a unique and imperative perspective to bring to the life-affirming mission at Save the Storks.

Pam knows the heartbreak, regret, shame, and grief that accompanies going through an abortion. But she also knows the redemption, freedom, and restoration that is possible when women are allowed to share their abortion stories and heal from this traumatic experience.

As a young believer, Pam faced teen pregnancy in the church and chose abortion. Now, she uses the power of her story to open the life-affirming conversation in churches, pregnancy centers, and beyond. As our Mobile Acquisitions Specialist, Pam is dedicated to empowering more women to choose life.

Bill Heydorn, Director of Church Programs and Partnerships

Bill accepted Jesus in high school through the witness of amazing neighbors who lived out what it meant to be a Christian. Growing up in a non-Christian home and family has given him insight into reaching those far from Christ. He eventually became a pastor and served in ministry for over 30 years. Bill has served as a church planter, executive pastor, lead pastor, youth pastor, and speaking pastor at churches all over the Western US. He has spoken regularly to audiences from 20 to 8,000.

Bill was challenged recently to stand up and live out his convictions for the church to be life-affirming, which is why he serves at Save the Storks. His passion for seeing the Church be a place where authentic and real relationships flourish, while serving those who are struggling with an unplanned pregnancy is what keeps him up at night.

Bill has been married for over 28 years and has three children who are the joy of his life.

Jessica Phillips, Community Relationship Manager

For the past 17 years, Jessica has dedicated her life to non-profit work, driven by a profound passion for missions and witnessing transformed lives. Her journey began 18 years ago when she became a birth mother—a pivotal experience that shaped her heart for serving women and families.

While attending college, Jessica discovered she was pregnant and believed abortion was her only option. Determined to find an alternative for her unborn daughter, she became her child’s fiercest advocate and ultimately chose adoption. Today, Jessica celebrates the joy and beauty of open adoption through a cherished relationship with her daughter and her adoptive family. This life-changing experience ignited Jessica’s commitment to empower women with hope and resources, offering a testament to the power of adoption through the eyes of a birth mother.

Jessica’s passion for missions deepened when she quit her job, purchased a one-way ticket, and moved to Haiti for a year. During those 12 months, her life was transformed as she witnessed the resilience of communities and the impact of compassionate outreach. Upon returning to the United States, Jessica relocated to Colorado, continuing her mission-focused journey.

Eight years ago, Jessica joined Save the Storks, where her heart for women, children, and families found its perfect match. Through her work, she shares her personal story of adoption, advocating for its transformative power and highlighting the beauty of choosing life.
